Attorney Lisa Starks founded the firm in 2000 focusing on divorce, family and juvenile law. She dedicated herself to her clients and quickly established the firm in DeLand and later opened another office in Daytona. 

In March 2006, Ms. Starks opened her new law building at 213 S. Alabama Ave. in downtown DeLand, Florida. Designed specifically to handle legal conferences, mediation and client meetings, the new offices provide a pleasant atmosphere for effectively working with her clients.

Ms. Starks thoroughly prepares for trial and has extensive court room experience should your situation require litigation.  Although Ms. Starks is a skilled litigator, she will use all of resources to negotiate a resolution of your case before trial if this would achieve the best possible result for your particular situation.

A foundation element in Ms. Starks professional make up is the desire to help others. This is evident in Ms. Starks' efforts to assist children as a guardian ad litem.  In this capacity she is appointed by the court as an independent voice to speak on behalf of abused, abandoned, and neglected children in court. She takes her responsibility to children very seriously and provides a passionate voice for them in an atmosphere where they otherwise might not be heard.
